A proud resident of Sandpoint since 2002, Jimy Black has built a life and career rooted in the local community. Jimy followed his wife, Nicole, back to the town where she grew up, and together they’ve made Sandpoint their home for over two decades. They have an 18-year-old son and enjoy everything the beautiful region has to offer, including hunting, exploring the outdoors, and relaxing on Lake Pend Oreille.
In his early years in Sandpoint, Jimy worked in construction, gaining hands-on experience in building homes. This invaluable background led him to become a real estate appraiser — a profession that refined his understanding of the market and sharpened his expertise in property valuation. In 2012, Jimy’s childhood best friend and future business partner, Jake Humble, relocated to Sandpoint with his family. The two quickly joined forces in the appraisal business, where they witnessed the incredible opportunities within the real estate market. With Jimy’s construction background and Jake’s business savvy, the duo soon transitioned into real estate investing. From flipping houses to spec construction and subdivision development, they navigated every aspect of real estate with determination and insight.
